Day 1 – Madrid, Ribera del Duero and Aranda del Duero
Departure from Madrid to begin a private wine tour to one of Spain’s most prestigious wine regions: Ribera del Duero. This appellation is renowned for the quality, structure, and character of its wines, as well as for the striking beauty of its vineyard landscapes.
During the day, a visit will be made to a prestigious winery in Ribera del Duero, with the possibility of visiting wineries such as Protos or Emilio Moro, subject to availability. The experience will provide a better understanding of winemaking, the importance of the terroir, and the style of one of the country’s most highly regarded wine regions.
The route continues to Aranda del Duero, a town deeply rooted in wine culture. There, you can visit a traditional underground winery, a truly representative experience for understanding the historical relationship between the town, its caves, and wine preservation.

Day 2 – Aranda del Duero, La Rioja and Rioja Alavesa
After breakfast, departure for La Rioja, one of Spain’s most famous wine regions. This leg of the journey will be dedicated to discovering a territory where vineyards, wineries, historic villages, and wine culture are an essential part of the landscape.
During the day, we will visit Bodegas Vivanco, a leading institution for understanding the tradition, history, and culture of wine in La Rioja. The visit offers a comprehensive approach to the world of wine, combining heritage, terroir, and winemaking expertise.
The day will continue to Rioja Alavesa, an area of great scenic beauty and immense importance for winemaking. There, a visit will be made to Marqués de Riscal, one of the region’s most renowned wineries, famous for its blend of tradition, contemporary architecture, and international prestige.

Day 3 – La Rioja, Terra Alta and Priorat
The route continues into Catalonia, first entering Terra Alta, a wine region with its own distinct character and of great interest to those wishing to discover different styles within Catalan wine. Its landscapes, agricultural traditions, and connection to local grape varieties make this stop a truly special experience.
During a visit to a winery in Terra Alta, you will be able to learn more about the character of this area and its way of understanding wine from the land.
Next, we continue to Priorat, one of Spain’s most prestigious wine regions. Known for its steep slopes, hillside vineyards, and the intense character of its wines, Priorat offers a very different winemaking experience from the regions visited previously.
The day will include a visit to a winery located in a beautiful setting, where the landscape and mountain viticulture help to understand the uniqueness of this designation.

Day 4 – Priorat, Penedès and Barcelona
After breakfast, we depart for Penedès, one of Catalonia’s major wine regions and renowned for its long history with Cava. This final leg of the journey offers a more Mediterranean experience, steeped in vineyards, tradition, and sparkling wine.
During the day, a visit will be made to a winery in Penedès, where the production process, the work in the vineyard and the tradition that has made this area one of the great drivers of Catalan wine will be explained.
The experience will be completed with a cava tasting, ideal to end the route with one of the most representative products of the region.
After the visit, continue to Barcelona, where the itinerary will end.
