Travel from Madrid to Barcelona by high-speed train. On arrival, transfer to your hotel and begin with a first introduction to the city.
Depending on arrival time, explore the Gothic Quarter, El Born, the Cathedral and the waterfront. Welcome dinner and overnight in Barcelona.
Day 2 · Barcelona · Gaudi and Modernism
Barcelona · Architecture and Mediterranean Culture
Spend the day discovering Barcelona’s major Modernist works. Sagrada Familia is one of the main highlights, together with Passeig de Gracia and the exteriors of landmarks such as Casa Batllo and La Pedrera.
Continue through Park Guell and several city neighborhoods, with free time in the afternoon to enjoy Barcelona at your own pace.
Day 3 · Barcelona · Montserrat · Penedes · Sitges
Montserrat and Penedes · Mountains, Monastery and Cava
Leave Barcelona for Montserrat. Visit the monastery area and enjoy the extraordinary rock formations that make this mountain one of Catalonia’s most recognizable landscapes.
Continue to Penedes for a winery visit and an introduction to the region’s wine and cava traditions. The day ends in Sitges on the Mediterranean.
Overnight in Sitges with time to walk through the historic center and along the seafront.
Day 4 · Sitges · Tarragona · Costa Daurada
Roman Tarragona on the Catalonia Grand Tour
Leave Sitges and follow the coast toward Tarragona. Spend much of the day discovering the Roman legacy of Tarraco, including the amphitheater, the city walls area and the historic center.
Later, visit El Serrallo and the Costa Daurada coastline. Overnight in Tarragona or the surrounding area.

Ebro Delta and Priorat · From the Mediterranean to the Vineyards
Continue to the Ebro Delta, where rice fields, lagoons, wetlands and the river mouth create one of the western Mediterranean’s most distinctive natural landscapes.
Continue inland to Priorat, a region of steep slopes and mountain vineyards. Enjoy a wine-related experience before travelling on to Montblanc.
Overnight in Montblanc or the Conca de Barbera area.
Day 6 · Montblanc · Poblet · Lleida · La Pobla de Segur
Poblet and Lleida · Toward the Pyrenees
Begin with a visit to Poblet Monastery, one of Catalonia’s great monastic complexes. Continue to Lleida to discover the monumental setting of Seu Vella.
Continue north through the Pre-Pyrenean landscapes to La Pobla de Segur for the overnight stay.
Day 7 · Aiguestortes · Vall de Boi

Spend the day in Aiguestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici National Park. Authorized access services will be used when required to reach its landscapes of lakes, forests and mountains.
Continue to Vall de Boi and discover part of its Romanesque heritage, with historic churches set within small mountain villages. Overnight in the valley.

Leave Vall de Boi for Val d’Aran, a Pyrenean territory with its own language, architecture and gastronomy.
Explore Vielha and several villages in the valley, combining heritage, scenery and time to enjoy the mountains. Overnight in Vielha.
Day 9 · Vielha · La Seu d’Urgell · Cadi-Moixero · Ripoll
Catalan Pyrenees · From Aran to Ripolles
Cross one of the most mountainous areas of the journey, travelling toward La Seu d’Urgell and the Cadi-Moixero area through valleys and scenic roads.
Continue into Ripolles and finish the day in Ripoll, with time to see the monastery area before the overnight stay.
Day 10 · Ripoll · Besalu · Figueres · Cadaques · Roses
Dali and Cap de Creus · Entering Emporda
Leave the Pyrenees for Besalu, one of the best-known medieval towns in inland Girona province.
Continue to Figueres for the Dali Theatre-Museum. In the afternoon, travel to Cadaques and the Cap de Creus area.
End the day in Roses or the surrounding area, beside the Mediterranean.

Explore part of Costa Brava, combining coastline and heritage. Depending on the season, the route may include stops in Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc or a cove in Baix Emporda.
Inland, discover medieval villages such as Pals and Peratallada before continuing to Girona.
Overnight in Girona with an evening walk through the historic center.
Day 12 · Girona · Barcelona
Girona · Cultural Finale before Returning to Barcelona
Spend the morning in Girona, exploring the Jewish Quarter, historic streets, Cathedral area and bridges over the Onyar River.
Continue to Barcelona for the final overnight stay and a farewell dinner to conclude the Catalonia Grand Tour.
