Spain Food and Wine Tour: From Tempranillo to Pintxos
The Spain Food and Wine Tour begins in Madrid and heads toward Peñafiel and Ribera del Duero. During the first two nights, you will discover vineyards, wineries, Aranda de Duero and Castilian cuisine, with tastings and paired meals in one of Spain’s best-known wine regions.
The route continues for two nights in Rioja, with stops in Laguardia, Haro and wineries of different styles. Here you will combine vineyard and cellar visits with Rioja cuisine and a gastronomic meal paired with regional wines.
The final three days take place in the Basque Country. You will visit Getaria before reaching San Sebastian, where the program includes a pintxos tour, a Basque cooking class, txakoli, Idiazabal cheese and a Basque cider experience.

Spend the day exploring Ribera del Duero in greater depth, visiting wineries with different profiles to compare winemaking approaches and expressions of Tempranillo.

The tour ends in San Sebastian after seven nights. We can add a transfer to Bilbao, a return to Madrid or onward travel to another destination.

The itinerary includes several winery visits and tastings across Ribera del Duero, Rioja and a txakoli winery in the Basque Country. The final number is confirmed with the wineries selected for each departure.
